== Event Info ==
The Masquerade of Deceit is divided into multiple acts. Fight your way through Floors I - Floors VI(endless area) to thwart a band of masked Vain Deceivers!

At the end of each floor lurks a boss. Defeat that boss to move on to the next area.

You can also fight with other players in the Battle of Heroes mode to earn BT Pts.

You may be eligible for prizes depending on the amount of BT Pts you have earned and the number of victories you have in the Battle of Heroes mode.

* All rewards will be sent to your Inbox.
* Event-exclusive Titles can be found on your Profile page under Edit Title → Achievements.
* You cannot receive the same title more than once.

The Masquerade of Deceit event is divided into two parts.

=== Combat in the Masquerade of Deceit ===
In the Masquerade of Deceit, you will assemble an army of 5 units that will do all of your fighting.

There will also be times when your Allies will assist you in combat.

=== Special Units ===
Special units are units that can be obtained through premium card packs, boxes, and megaboxes. They possess special bonuses that are active during the Masquerade of Deceit event.

Deploy any of the following units to receive a BT Pts bonus. The higher the rarity of each special unit deployed, the bigger your bonus. You will receive a BT Pts bonus for EACH special unit you deploy in this fashion.

* Fusil, Shikigami Master(6★)
* Mirabelle, Holy Acolyte(5★)
* Chagrin the Manipulator(4★)
* Ghenna, Death Wind(4★)

The higher the rarity, the larger your BT Pts bonus.

You will receive a BT Pts bonus for EACH special unit you deploy in this fashion.

You will not receive a BT Pts bonus from special units deployed by your allies.

You will only receive a BT Pts bonus if you successfully complete a stage or defeat an opponent within the event. If you fail the stage or lose to your opponent, you will not receive the bonus.

Put together a team with the units listed below to enjoy an increased chance to meet stronger opponents in the endless area (Floor VI) of the event.

* Baldomero, The Crimson King(6★)
* Fritz, Devoted Protector(5★)
* Manola, Sun Fairy(4★)
* Fasti the Young Archer(4★)

Only the special unit with the highest rarity will give you an increased chance of encountering stronger opponents.
You will not receive an increased chance of encountering stronger opponents from special units deployed by your allies.

If your team contains more than one kind of these above special units, you will receive both the BT Pt bonus and the increased chance to encounter rarer enemies.

=== Masques ===
Use Masques within the event to temporarily boost the attack strength of your units, as well as your player life total for all event battles.

You will also receive an increased amount of BT Pts for a set amount of time.

You can find Masques(S) during Training.
* Your stock of Masques(S) and Masques(L) will be deleted at the end of the event. Please be forewarned.
Tip: use large masques during boss encounters for triple the BT pts

=== BT PTs ===
You will earn BT Pts for every battle you win within the event.

Furthermore, you will also receive a BT Pts bonus if you include any of the following units in your 5-person team. The size of the BT Pts bonus you will receive depends on the number and rarity of special units you include in your team.

* Fusil, Shikigami Master(6★)
* Mirabelle, Holy Acolyte(5★)
* Chagrin the Manipulator(4★)
* Ghenna, Death Wind(4★)

The higher the rarity of your special units, the bigger your BT Pt bonus.

=== Cooldown Within the Masquerade of Deceit ===
Initiating battle within the Masquerade of Deceit will incur a Cooldown.

This cooldown will be handled separately from your normal quest and battle cooldowns.

While cooldown will disappear over time, you can also use a Time Elixir / Time Elixir(P) to instantly set any cooldown time to zero.

Additionally, you can also use Potions to retry a stage within the Masquerade of Deceit.

=== Dual Skills ===
Units that have dual skills will use both of them during both event battles and the Battle of Heroes mode.

However, only one of these skills will have the possibility of activating each attack. Which skill activates is determined on a per attack basis.
* Check the back of a card to view each of the unit's individual skill levels.

=== Head Start Rankings ===
Head Start Rankings will start on Aug. 12, 2013, post-maintenance and end on Aug. 15, 2013 at 6:00 pm PST/PDT.

The Masquerade of Deceit is divided into multiple acts. Fight your way through Floors I - Floors VI(endless area) to thwart a band of masked Vain Deceivers!

At the end of each floor lurks a boss. Defeat that boss to move on to the next area.

You can also fight with other players in the Battle of Heroes mode to earn BT Pts.

You may be eligible for prizes depending on the amount of BT Pts you have earned and the number of victories you have in the Battle of Heroes mode.

In the Masquerade of Deceit, you will assemble an army of 5 units that will do all of your fighting.

There will also be times when your Allies will assist you in combat.

=== Special Units ===
Special units are units that can be obtained through premium card packs, boxes, and megaboxes. They possess special bonuses that are active during the Masquerade of Deceit event.

Deploy any of the following units to receive a BT Pts bonus. The higher the rarity of each special unit deployed, the bigger your bonus. You will receive a BT Pts bonus for EACH special unit you deploy in this fashion.

* Fusil, Shikigami Master(6★)
* Mirabelle, Holy Acolyte(5★)
* Chagrin the Manipulator(4★)
* Ghenna, Death Wind(4★)

The higher the rarity, the larger your BT Pts bonus.

You will receive a BT Pts bonus for EACH special unit you deploy in this fashion.

You will not receive a BT Pts bonus from special units deployed by your allies.

You will only receive a BT Pts bonus if you successfully complete a stage or defeat an opponent within the event. If you fail the stage or lose to your opponent, you will not receive the bonus.

Put together a team with the units listed below to enjoy an increased chance to meet stronger opponents in the endless area (Floor VI) of the event.
