=== The Guild Prep Phase ===
The Guild Prep Phase is when you will find, or make, a guild for the upcoming battle.

To participate in the event, you will have two options:
* Find and join a guild that has openings available
* Create your own guild and recruit guildmates

You can leave a guild you've joined during the Guild Prep Phase, but you will need to wait some time before you can leave any other guilds you may join in the future.

Finally, you cannot leave a guild that you have created yourself. You may disband a guild if there are no members present.

=== Rooks (Rookie Players) ===
In general, guild spaces are capped at 7 members. However, you can exceed this cap by two additional players provided that they meet the following requirements:
* <del>At or below level 30</del>
* Join date is September 8, 2013 (12:00 am PST/PDT) or later
* There are no filled entries for 6★s (excluding Mina) or 7★s in the players album

Players meeting all of the above qualify as "Rooks."

Players who are already in guilds can use the Invite Rook! feature found on the Guild main page to look for eligible candidates to invite.

You can then leave an invitation on a Rook's message board by tapping the profile button.

Rooks can be a valuable asset to your Guild! Good luck!

=== Wild Souls and Morale ===
Tap the Offer Souls button to increase your guild's morale by sacrificing Wild Souls.

Once a set number of souls have been sacrificed, your guild's morale will increase giving your guild more Action Pts during the next battle.

Wild Souls have a set chance to drop in normal quests and training.

They also appear randomly in the Leana's Exchange Shop.

* The number of Souls required to increase your guild's morale is shared between guild members. Anyone within the guild can offer souls to increase guild morale.

The higher your guild's morale, the more action points you will have to use in guild battles.

NOTE: Your guild morale will return to its default value after each battle.

Consulting with your guildmates about Wild Soul management will help you succeed in battle.

* Wild Souls will cease to be of any use once the FANTASICA Chronicles: Battle for the Wastes event concludes.
* Wild Souls may be deleted at the end of the event. Please be forewarned.

=== The Guild Battle Phase ===
The Guild Battle Phase is where combat between rival guilds takes place.

Combat is divided into three phases:
# The Matching Phase
# The Battle Phase
# The End Phase

==== The Matching Phase ====
Your guild will be paired against a similarly ranked guild during this phase. During this phase, your guild can offer souls to increase guild morale.

NOTE: You can ONLY offer souls during this phase.

==== The Battle Phase ====
This is when the actual battle takes place.

The team that earns the most Guild Pts during the allotted time will be declared winner during the End phase.

==== The End Phase ====
This is the phase that occurs after the fighting has finished.

During this phase, Guild Pts earned in battle will be tallied and a winner will be determined.

=== Deploying your Team ===
During the Matching Phase, you will be able to choose where you want to deploy your team.

The battlefield is divided into three zones - each with their own unit modifiers.
* The modifiers are only active during the Battle phase of the event.

You cannot deploy your team to a place that is already occupied by another guildmate.

Furthermore, you cannot change your unit's location once you have entered the battle phase.

If there is a specific place you want to deploy your team to, please be sure to do so before the start of the next battle.
* If you are unable to deploy your unit before battle, you will automatically be placed in an open location when you join battle.
* However, your team will not be eligible to participate in base defense until you actually log into battle.

=== Editing your Team ===
The Edit Team button will allow you to choose which units will participate in the battle phase of the guild battle.

You can assign up to a maximum of 10 units to your team.
* Any additions to your team's roster must keep the team at, or below, the cost cap.

Units that have Arena Skills will use those skills over any other skills that they may have.
* Check the back of your unit card to determine whether or not your unit has an Arena Skill.
* Player Skills will have no effect on units participating in the FANTASICA Chronicles event.

In the Edit Team menu, you have the ability to delegate up to 5 units to base defense.

Units assigned to defense will continue protect your base by drawing enemy attacks so long as they continue to have health remaining.
* You can continue to delegate units to offense / defense even during the Battle phase of the event.

=== Special Units ===
The following units, available for a limited time in premium purchases, will offer bonuses during the FANTASICA Chronicles: Battle of the Wastes event.
* 7 units added in [[Step Up Packs 10]]
* 8 units added in [[Blood Guard Series]]

Each of these units will enjoy-
* increased attack strength
* increased hit points
* a bonus to Guild Pts received when attacking an enemy base

The above bonuses are only available during the FANTASICA Chronicles: Battle of the Wastes event.

=== The Battle Phase ===
Once battle begins, you will gain access to the battlefield. Here is where the actual fighting takes place.

To win, you must earn more Guild Pts than your opponent within the allocated amount of time.
* In the event of a tie, both guilds will suffer a loss.

You can earn Guild Pts by -
* Performing an attack
* Using Rally to restore some of a guildmate's Action Pts

==== Performing an Attack ====
When performing an attack, up to a maximum of 5 of your units NOT set on defense will attempt to attack the enemy guild's base.

When attacking, each unit involved in the attack will consume a set amount of Action Pts.

If you lack the Action Pts to perform even a single attack, no attack will take place.

If the enemy guild has no units set to defend, then you will attack the enemy base.

Enemy bases are unable to perform counterattacks and offer a larger number of Guild Pts.
* Player skills will have no effect on combat in the FANTASICA Chronicles event.

==== Rallying a Guildmate ====
Rallying allows you spend a set amount of Action Pts to restore a portion of a guildmate's Action Pts.

Supporting a guildmate in this fashion can be one of many effective strategies.

Tap Heal to fully restore the hit points of every unit in your team. Healing consumes a set amount of Action Pts.
* Attempting to perform this action when you have insufficient Action Pts will have no effect.

=== Crash Chance ===
During battle, you will occasionally spot a hammer icon on the enemy's base.

Tapping it will allow you to perform a Crash Chance - a direct attack on the enemy base that cannot be defended against.

NOTE: You will still need to have Action Pts to perform a Crash Chance.

Crash Chances are great opportunities for some easy Guild Pts, so keep your eyes peeled, Soldier!

=== Regaining Action Pts ===
Performing actions during the Battle Phases requires Action Pts.

Action Pts will regenerate naturally over time.
* Guilds that have a larger maximum number of Action Pts, will regenerate more Action Pts with each tick. The amount of time needed to regain all of your Action Pts is the same for all guilds.

Alternatively, you can also use a Potion or Wild Tonic to completely restore your Action Pts at any time.

Wild Tonics are available as an event reward and are also included in some card purchases.
* The number of potions you can use in a single battle is limited.
* The number of Wild Tonics you can use in a single battle is NOT limited.
* Wild Tonics will cease to be of any use once the FANTASICA Chronicles: Battle for the Wastes event concludes.
* Wild Tonics may be deleted at the end of the event. Please be forewarned.

If you use an item to restore your Action Pts after being prompted to use an item (in response to unsuccessfully trying to perform an action), it may look like you have restored a reduced amount of Action Pts, but this is not the case. What happens is that you will immediately perform the action you attempted to perform (right before being prompted to use an item), and then the cost to perform the action will be subtracted from your Action Pts.

=== Battle Schedule ===

Call of the Desert is a co-op event where all players kill monsters to earn BT Pts.

== Event Info ==
Call of the Desert is a co-op event where all players kill monsters to earn BT Pts.
* To participate in the event, simply press the "Call of the Desert" button found on your main page.

Complete quests and Oasis Quests to earn BT Pts for yourself and the community. As the total number of BT Pts increases, Desert Panels will open and bestow rewards on all players paricipating in the event.
* The amount of BT Pts you can earn varies depending on the quest.
* Even if you fail a quest, you can still receive a set amount of BT Pts.
* Some time may be required before BT Pts totals update.

Desert Panels hide rewards. Work together with other players to destroy the magic binding these panels and receive the rewards hidden within!

Press the "Receive" button on the Ranking page after the event has finished to have all eligible rewards sent to your Inbox.
* Event-exclusive Titles can be found on your Profile page under Edit Title → Achievements.
* The deadline to receive any event-related reward is October 15, 2013 by 2:00 am PST/PDT.

Step Up Packs Series 10 contained the same cards as regular card packs with reprints of the [[Frostbloods Series]]. Step up packs are purchased in a tiered order with the increased costs as well as increased bonuses with each tier. Progress on purchasing Steps is permanent. Upon completion of step 6, both steps 6 and 7 became repeatable.

Decimate an army of elite demons to end the curse of the Crimson Moon and bring peace back to the world of FANTASICA!

The Doomsday Tower event will be divided into three parts: Prelude, Bloodletting, and The End.

The cast of demons appearing may vary depending on part and demons who appear in multiple parts will have their levels reset at the end of each part.

During the Doomsday Tower, the normal Training stages will be replaced with event-specific Training stages.

Advance through the Training stages to encounter fearsome bosses. Defeat bosses to obtain awesome loot!

Furthermore, destroy demons to earn a spot in the player rankings. Higher rankings give greater prizes, so grab your weapons and get to work!

=== Fighting Within the Doomsday Tower ===
When fighting a demon, you can deploy one of your own units, as well as the units of whatever allies or non-allies (determined at random) who have come to your assistance, to participate in the battle.

You can increase the number of your own units that you can summon by using Demon Wards.

Demon Wards can only be used once per battle and are lost on use.

Once you have initiated battle with a demon, you will need to defeat it within a certain window of time. If you don't, it will flee.

Furthermore, unit skills, such as poison and knockback, have no effect in demon battles.

You can rechallenge demons that you have defeated or have fled, but they will start at full health at the beginning of the next battle.

Finally, equipping on the Light Walker series units, Night Gem reward units, or any of the units newly added to Step Up Packs, will increase your chances of encountering rarer bosses. The increase depends on the rarity of the unit.

Below is a list of all the newly added units you can find in Step Up Packs:

In addition to demons, you will have a chance of triggering a special encounter. These encounters are divided into two groups: Revive Bosses and Limited Bosses.

Bosses appearing as a Revive Boss will have their level determined at random. This level resets each time you encounter them.

Winning a Revive Boss fight will award you with either a large amount of Night Gems, but no BT Pts -or- a large amount of BT Pts, but no Night Gems.

Limited Bosses will grant large amounts of both, but are extremely difficult to defeat.

Limited Bosses are unique in that when you encounter one, your allies will also receive Limited Bosses of their own.

If a Limited Boss is active, you can fight its boss by tapping the Fight Boss button within the event. Good luck!

* You can only have one Limited Boss active at any given time.
* Neither Light Walker units, Night Gem reward units, nor Step Up Box units, will affect your chances of encountering a Revive Boss / Limited Boss.

=== Calling for Help ===
Allies may choose to call you for help. There may also be times when you receive similar requests from non-allies.

You will have two ways to help them - "Send Aid" will let them call your leader unit in battle and "Send Light Spike" will send them 1 Light Spike.

Helping another player will consume some of your Training Pts, but you will earn both BT Pts and Night Gems!

Tapping the "Request Assistance" button will send a request to your own allies, as well as some random non-allies, for help in the same fashion.

Tapping the "Request Assistance" button will trigger Cooldown. You can wait for Cooldown to dissipate naturally, or use a Potion to reset it instantly.

=== Light Spikes ===
When assisting others, you can choose to send them Light Spikes if you have at least one in stock.

Light Spikes are bundled with some purchases (check Card Pack page for more details), but can also be earned as a Night Gem reward.

Sending a Light Spike to others will also grant you a big boost in BT Pts and Night Gems.

You can only send Light Spikes to other players. You can NOT use them on yourself, nor can you trade them.

Spikes that have been sent from another player are automatically used in boss fights. A maximum of 5 spikes can be used in a single fight and all remaining arrows will carry over to your next fight.

Light Spikes deal more damage than normal attacks, so having another player send them is a great way to tackle the more powerful bosses.

Additionally, if you have one of the Light Walker units Night Gem units, or newly added Step Up Pack units set as your leader, Light Spikes sent by other players will deal additional damage.

Any unused Light Spikes sent to you will be lost when the event concludes. Light Spikes will not carry over to any future events.

=== Demon Wards ===
Using Demon Wards allows you to increase the number of units you can summon from your collection.

Demon Wards are available from the Shop for the price of 100 MobaCoins / Fanta Pts each.

Once used, Demon Wards last for one battle.

* Take care, once you have used one Demon Ward, the effect will end at the conclusion of the your next battle regardless of whether you actually deploy an extra unit or not.***
* Any unused Demon Wards will be converted to Potions and sent your Inbox during a future, undetermined Maintenance.

=== Night Gems ===
Night Gems can drop whenever you defeat a demon in battle or send aid to another player.

Collect enough Night Gems and you can unlock special, event-specific rewards like rare units.

Unlock all 10 of the Night Gem rewards and you'll gain access to secret rewards.

Collecting rewards does not require you to forfeit your Night Gems. You'll still retain all of your Night Gems even after you've received your reward.
* You can not trade Night Gems.

To collect your rewards, go to the Night Gem Rewards page and tap the Receive Rewards button. Your rewards will be sent to your Inbox.
* Event-exclusive Titles can be found on your Profile page under Edit Title -> Achievements.

=== BT Pts ===
Defeat demons in battle and aid others to gain BT Pts.

You can also gain a large number of BT Pts when you send a Light Spike to another player.

Once you have encountered a demon, you can challenge it multiple times until it is defeated or flees. Its HP will not regenerate.

=== Fever Time ===
Occasionally, you will enter a special state known as "Fever Time."

As you complete training, you have a set chance to enter a special state called "Fever Time." Fever Time will end after a set amount of time passes.

Defeat a boss during Fever Time to receive an increased amount of Night Gems and BT Pts.
* Fever Time has no effect on the amount of Night Gems / BT Pts received from sending aid to an ally.
* Fever Time will not award bonus Night Gems / BT Pts for any boss fights initiated before Fever Time occurs.
* Fever Time will not award bonus Night Gems / BT Pts for any bosses defeated after Fever Time ends, regardless of whether they were initiated during Fever Time or not.
* Fever Time will have no effect on Night Gems / BT Pts received during Limited Bosses.

=== Ranking ===
Ranking will be determined by your total number of BT Pts.

You can view your rank and the ranks of the top ten players via the Ranking page.

There is no limit to the number of demons you can fight.

While the event may be divided into three parts, ranking will remain consistent from start to end. Final rankings will be determined at the end of the event.

Higher ranks offer greater rewards, so get to work, soldier!

As it may take some time for Rankings to update, there may be some discrepancy between what is shown on the Ranking page and the actual, final player rankings.

In addition to demons, you will have a chance of triggering a special encounter. These encounters are divided into two groups: Revive Bosses and Limited Bosses.

Bosses appearing as a Revive Boss will have their level determined at random. This level resets each time you encounter them.

Winning a Revive Boss fight will award you with either a large amount of Night Gems, but no BT Pts -or- a large amount of BT Pts, but no Night Gems.

Limited Bosses will grant large amounts of both, but are extremely difficult to defeat.

Limited Bosses are unique in that when you encounter one, your allies will also receive Limited Bosses of their own.

If a Limited Boss is active, you can fight its boss by tapping the Fight Boss button within the event. Good luck!

* You can only have one Limited Boss active at any given time.
* Neither Light Walker units, Night Gem reward units, nor Step Up Box units, will affect your chances of encountering a Revive Boss / Limited Boss.

=== Calling for Help ===
Allies may choose to call you for help. There may also be times when you receive similar requests from non-allies.

You will have two ways to help them - "Send Aid" will let them call your leader unit in battle and "Send Light Spike" will send them 1 Light Spike.

Helping another player will consume some of your Training Pts, but you will earn both BT Pts and Night Gems!

Tapping the "Request Assistance" button will send a request to your own allies, as well as some random non-allies, for help in the same fashion.

Tapping the "Request Assistance" button will trigger Cooldown. You can wait for Cooldown to dissipate naturally, or use a Potion to reset it instantly.

=== Light Spikes ===
When assisting others, you can choose to send them Light Spikes if you have at least one in stock.

Light Spikes are bundled with some purchases (check Card Pack page for more details), but can also be earned as a Night Gem reward.

Sending a Light Spike to others will also grant you a big boost in BT Pts and Night Gems.

You can only send Light Spikes to other players. You can NOT use them on yourself, nor can you trade them.

Spikes that have been sent from another player are automatically used in boss fights. A maximum of 5 spikes can be used in a single fight and all remaining arrows will carry over to your next fight.

Light Spikes deal more damage than normal attacks, so having another player send them is a great way to tackle the more powerful bosses.

Additionally, if you have one of the Light Walker units Night Gem units, or newly added Step Up Pack units set as your leader, Light Spikes sent by other players will deal additional damage.

Any unused Light Spikes sent to you will be lost when the event concludes. Light Spikes will not carry over to any future events.

=== Demon Wards ===
Using Demon Wards allows you to increase the number of units you can summon from your collection.

Demon Wards are available from the Shop for the price of 100 MobaCoins / Fanta Pts each.

Once used, Demon Wards last for one battle.

* Take care, once you have used one Demon Ward, the effect will end at the conclusion of the your next battle regardless of whether you actually deploy an extra unit or not.***
* Any unused Demon Wards will be converted to Potions and sent your Inbox during a future, undetermined Maintenance.

=== Night Gems ===
Night Gems can drop whenever you defeat a demon in battle or send aid to another player.

Collect enough Night Gems and you can unlock special, event-specific rewards like rare units.

Unlock all 10 of the Night Gem rewards and you'll gain access to secret rewards.

Collecting rewards does not require you to forfeit your Night Gems. You'll still retain all of your Night Gems even after you've received your reward.
* You can not trade Night Gems.

To collect your rewards, go to the Night Gem Rewards page and tap the Receive Rewards button. Your rewards will be sent to your Inbox.
* Event-exclusive Titles can be found on your Profile page under Edit Title -> Achievements.

Defeat demons in battle and aid others to gain BT Pts.

You can also gain a large number of BT Pts when you send a Light Spike to another player.

Once you have encountered a demon, you can challenge it multiple times until it is defeated or flees. Its HP will not regenerate.

Occasionally, you will enter a special state known as "Fever Time."

As you complete training, you have a set chance to enter a special state called "Fever Time." Fever Time will end after a set amount of time passes.

Defeat a boss during Fever Time to receive an increased amount of Night Gems and BT Pts.
* Fever Time has no effect on the amount of Night Gems / BT Pts received from sending aid to an ally.
* Fever Time will not award bonus Night Gems / BT Pts for any boss fights initiated before Fever Time occurs.
* Fever Time will not award bonus Night Gems / BT Pts for any bosses defeated after Fever Time ends, regardless of whether they were initiated during Fever Time or not.
* Fever Time will have no effect on Night Gems / BT Pts received during Limited Bosses.

Ranking will be determined by your total number of BT Pts.

You can view your rank and the ranks of the top ten players via the Ranking page.

There is no limit to the number of demons you can fight.

While the event may be divided into three parts, ranking will remain consistent from start to end. Final rankings will be determined at the end of the event.

== Event Info ==
...and from the gates spread a darkness that smothered even the night sky. Little hope remained for the Age of Man.

The Gates of Darkness is a co-op event where all players kill monsters to earn BT Pts.

* To participate in the event, simply press the "Gates of Darkness" button found on your main page.

Complete quests and Gate Quests to earn BT Pts for yourself and the community. As the total number of BT Pts increases, Abyss Panels will open and bestow rewards on all players participating in the event.

* The amount of BT Pts you can earn varies depending on the quest.
* Even if you fail a quest, you can still receive a set amount of BT Pts.
* Some time may be required before BT Pt totals update.

Abyss Panels hide rewards. Work together with other players to destroy the dark magic sealing these panels and receive the rewards hidden within!

* All rewards will be sent to your Inbox.
* Some rewards may include units. Units will be sent to your Unit List. If you Unit List is full, they will be sent to your Inbox instead.
* Event-exclusive Titles can be found on your Profile page under Edit Title → Achievements.
* You cannot receive more than one copy of any title.

===Event Schedule===
The Gates of Darkness will start on May 30, 2013 post-maint and end on June 11, 2013 at 2:00am PST/PDT.
* These times may be subject to change.

The deadline to receive any event-related reward is June 18, 2013, 2:00 am PST/PDT.

===Gate Panels===
You will see a number of panels on the main page of the event. As event participants earn BT Pts through quests, each panel will open once the total number of points reaches a certain amount. Once a panel opens, all event participants will be eligible for that reward.

* Panels will update periodically. If applicable, panel rewards will be distributed when the panel updates.

===Gate Quests===
Gate Quests are a special kind of quest that require at least one Abyss Key to undertake.
* If you fail a Gate Quest, you will be able to continue where you left off once a certain amount of time has passed.

If you don't think you can complete the quest, or want to abandon it, tap the "Give Up" button to quit.
* NOTE: If you quit a quest in this fashion, you will lose any progress made in that quest. Furthermore, any Abyss Keys spent to undertake the quest will be lost for good.

===BT Pts===
Defeat monsters during quests and special Gate Quests to earn BT Pts.

Deploy special, new units to receive bonus BT Pts each time you complete a quest.
* The amount of bonus BT Pts will depend on the rarity of the unit.
* Higher rarities will lead to a greater amount of bonus BT Pts.
* You will only receive a bonus from the single, rarest, special unit that you deploy in a quest.
* You will NOT gain a BT Pts bonus for deploying your ally's special units in quests.

The Gates of Darkness is a co-op event where all players kill monsters to earn BT Pts.

* To participate in the event, simply press the "Gates of Darkness" button found on your main page.

Complete quests and Gate Quests to earn BT Pts for yourself and the community. As the total number of BT Pts increases, Abyss Panels will open and bestow rewards on all players participating in the event.

* The amount of BT Pts you can earn varies depending on the quest.
* Even if you fail a quest, you can still receive a set amount of BT Pts.

==How It Works==
Defeat Herbalists in Training to gain BT Pts. Earn BT Pts to secure a high rank. Higher ranks give rare prizes!

You can also gain rewards by collecting Mandragora - an item that drops from Herbalists when you defeat them.

===Fighting the Herbalists===
Defeating Herbalists will give you BT for ranking and mandrake for rewards. You can randomly encounter them in any training mission. You can also encounter King Mandragora who will be a random level between 20 and 200. Defeating him gives a large amount of EXP and Mandragora, but no BT or Luna.

Bosses appear during training. You can use fairy dust when you encounter them to deploy two units, otherwise you can only deploy one unit and call up to three allies who have sent aid.

Fever time activates randomly during training and lasts for a few minutes. Any bosses encountered '''and defeated''' during fever time give an extra 50% rewards.

===Requesting Assistance===
Every hour you can request assistance. Requests are sent to all your allies and a handful of other random players. Assisting allies costs 1 training points and gives you 10 BT + 1 Mandragora. Once you assist an ally they can call you once to help with a boss. You may also send a Magic Arrow instead of assisting which will damage the next boss they encounter and raise the rewards the boss gives. Sending a magic arrow gives you 1000 Mandragora and 3200 BT.

===Event Units===
Having an event unit as your leader increases the rarity of bosses you encounter and the damage that magic arrows sent to you by allies. It does not affect King Mandragora encounter rates.
