[edit] Sea Paradise Splash!!
The ancient race of Aquarians have left their home and threaten to drown the world in water. You must find them in Training stages and defeat them!
During the event, normal Training stages will be replaced with event-exclusive Training stages.
Defeat Aquarians in Training to gain BT Pts. Earn BT Pts to secure a high rank. Higher ranks give rare prizes!
You can also gain rewards by collecting Shiny Shells - an item that drops from Aquarians when you defeat them.
- Once all of the set Shiny Shell rewards have been collected, all subsequent rewards will be determined at random.
- The "Receive" button on the Rankings page after the event to have your rewards sent to your Inbox.
[edit] Event Schedule
The Sea Paradise Splash!! event is divided into two parts.
Part 1 Start: August 30, 2013, post-maintenance End: September 5, 2013 at 2:00 am (PST/PDT)
Part 2 Start: September 5, post-maintenance End: September 11 at 2:00 am (PST/PDT)
- The Head Start Rankings cover the entirety of Part One.
- Head Start Rank Rewards will be distributed after the rankings have been finalized.
- All rewards will be sent to your Inbox.
- Head Start Rankings will carry over into Part Two. Rankings will NOT be reset.
- Event Schedule may be subject to change.
- Final Rank Rewards will be distributed only after the event has finished.
The deadline to receive any event-related reward is September 18, 2013, 2:00 am PST/PDT.
[edit] Fighting the Aquarians
You can deploy one of your own units, and the leader units of whatever players come to your assistance, to do battle with an Aquarian.
You can increase the number of your own units that you can summon by using Sea Shards.
Only one Sea Shard can be used per battle and is lost on use.
Once you have initiated battle with an Aquarian, you will need to defeat it within a certain window of time. If you don't it will flee.
Furthermore, unit skills, such as poison and knockback, have no effect in Aquarian battles.
You can rechallenge Aquarians that you have defeated or fled, but they will start at full health at the beginning of the next battle.
Finally, equipping one of the following types of unit will increase your chances of encountering rare Aquarians. The increase depends on the rarity of the unit.
Here are the units that offer bonuses during the event:
- Any of the Kiss of Nature Series
- Any of the newly added units featured in the Dream Packs: Season 2
- Any of the units received as a Shiny Shell reward
- Any Head Start Ranking Reward units from this event.
During the event, you will also have a slim chance of encountering the rare and exclusive Leviathan. Each time you meet the Leviathan, his level will range from 10-100 (to be determined at random.) Defeating him (or letting him go) will have no direct effect on his level the next time you meet him.
- Defeating the Leviathan will earn you a large amount of EXP and Shiny Shells, but you will not receive Luna or BT Pts.
- The Kiss of Nature units, Shiny Shell reward units, Dream Chest units, and Head Start Ranking reward unit will NOT affect your chances of encountering the Leviathan.
In addition to the above, you will also have a chance of triggering a special, Limited Boss encounter.
Limited Bosses are unique in that when you encounter one, your allies will also reveive Limited Bosses of their own.
- You can only have one Limited Boss active at any given time.
- The Kiss of Nature units, Shiny Shell reward units, Dream Chest units, and Head Start Ranking reward units will NOT affect your chances of encountering the Limited Bosses.
[edit] Calling for Help
Allies may choose to call you for help. There may also be times when you receive similar requests from non-allies.
You will have two ways to help them - "Send Aid" will let them call your leader unit in battle and "Send Fish Hook" will send them 1 Fish Hook.
Helping another player will consume some of your Training Pts, but you will earn both BT Pts and Shiny Shells!
Tapping the "Request Assistance" button will send a request to your own allies, as well as some random non-allies, for help in the same fashion.
Tapping the "Request Assistance" button will trigger Cooldown. You can wait for Cooldown to dissipate naturally, or use a Potion to reset it instantly.
[edit] Fish Hooks
When assisting others, you can choose to send them Fish Hooks if you have at least one in stock.
Fish Hooks are bundled with some purchases (check Card Pack page for more details), but can also be earned as a Shiny Shell reward.
Sending a Fish Hook to another player will grant you a big boost in BT Pts and Shiny Shells.
You can only send Fish Hooks to other players. You can NOT use them on yourself, nor can you trade them.
Hooks that have been sent from other players are automatically used in boss fights. A maximum of 5 hooks can be used in a single fight and all remaining hooks will carry over to your next fight.
Fish Hooks deal more damage than normal attacks, so having another player send them is a great way to tackle the more powerful bosses.
Additionally, if you have one of the Kiss of Nature units, Shiny Shell units, newly added Dream Chest units, or the Head Start Ranking reward unit set as your leader, Fish Hooks sent to you by other players will deal additional damage.
Any unused Fish Hooks sent to you will be lost when the event concludes. Fish Hooks will not carry over to any future events.
[edit] Sea Shards
Using Sea Shards allows you to increase the number of units you can summon from your collection.
Sea Shards are available from the shop for the price of 100 MobaCoins / Fanta Pts each.
Once used, Sea Shards last for one battle.
- Take care, once you have used a Sea Shard, the effect will end at the conclusion of your next battle regardless of whether you actually deploy an extra unit or not. ***
- Any unused Sea Shards you have will be converted to Potions and sent to your Inbox during a future, undetermined Maintenance.
[edit] Shiny Shells
Shiny Shells can drop whenever you defeat an Aquarian in battle or send aid to another player.
Collect enough Shiny Shells and you can unlock special, event-specific rewards like rare units.
Unlock the first 10 Shiny Shell rewards and you'll gain access to secret rewards.
Collecting rewards does not require you to forfeit your Shiny Shells. You'll still retain all of your Shiny Shells even after you've received your reward.
- You can not trade Shiny Shells.
- To collect your rewards, go to the Shiny Shell Rewards page and tap the Receive button. Your rewards will be sent to your Inbox.
- Event-exclusive Titles can be found on your Profile page under Edit Title → Achievements.
[edit] BT Pts
Defeat Aquarians in battle and aid others to gain BT Pts.
You can also gain a large number of BT Pts when you send a Fish Hook to another player.
Once you have encountered an Aquarian, you can challenge it multiple times until it is defeated or flees. Its HP will not regenerate.
[edit] Fever Time
Occasionally, you will enter a special state known as "Fever Time."
As you complete Training, you have a set chance to enter a special state called "Fever Time." Fever Time will end after a set amount of time passes.
Defeat a boss during Fever Time to receive an increased amount of Shiny Shells and BT Pts.
- Fever Time has no effect on the amount of Shiny Shells / BT Pts received from sending aid to an ally.
- Fever Time will not award bonus Shiny Shells / BT Pts for any boss fights initiated before Fever Time occurs.
- Fever Time will not award bonus Shiny Shells / BT Pts for any bosses defeated after Fever Time ends, regardless of whether they were encountered during Fever Time or not.
- Fever Time will have no effect on Shiny Shells / BT Pts received from Limited Bosses.
[edit] Head Start Rankings
Head Start Rankings will start on Aug. 30, 2013, post-maintenance and end on Sep. 5, 2013 at 2:00 am PST/PDT. Head Start Rankings will be determined by BT Pt totals on September 5, 2013 at 2:00 am PST/PDT.
Head Start Rank Rewards will be sent to your Inbox after the rankings have been finalized.
- In the event of a tie, we reserve the right to determine the winner by alternate means.
As some time may be needed to calculate rankings, there may be some discrepency between the actual, final rankings and what is shown on the ranking screen.
- Rankings may take up to 30 minutes to update.
[edit] Ranking
Ranking will be determined by your total number of BT Pts.
You can view your rank and the ranks of the top ten players via the Ranking page.
Rankings will be consistent throughout both halves of the event.
Higher ranks offer greater rewards, so get to work, soldier!
As it may take some time for Rankings to update, there may be some discrepancy between what is shown on the Ranking page and the actual, final player rankings.
- Changes to player rankings may take up to 30 minutes to update.
