While the exact cause of this issue remains unclear, it was largely solved by uninstalling Fantasica, then reinstalling the newest version of the game from the Apple store.

There was originally standard maintenance scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 31st, 2016. This maintenance was to end both Prison Break and The Demon's Folly, and start the new dice event Spirits on Board. Files were also loaded to start a team event, Legends Reborn, the following day, Sunday, January 1st, 2017; and posters showed that the subsequent event that would have started on Jan 6th was to have been a tactics event, Wyverns on High.

Instead of coming back online ~5am PST as per usual, the servers stayed down for several extra hours. When they game came back up, the prior events had indeed ended, but the new ones had not been turned on, and no rank rewards were distributed. A message in the announcements cited 'crippling network issues' as the cause, and stated they were aiming to update again on Wed, Jan 4th.

No further updates or announcements were made for the following four days. No updates were given on Jan 4th, but on Thurs, Jan 5th an update was posted to say that the next event would begin on the following day.

On Fri, Jan 6th, Spirits on Board, the event that was initially supposed to run from 1/1 - 1/6, was turned on. Legends Reborn was started on Sat, Jan 7th, and both ran through Jan 10th. The subsequent event was changed from Wyverns on High to be The Sunrise Rebellion.

■The Fantasica Progress Report

Over the winter holidays, Fantasica was subject to two major issues that impeded play.

1.) A number of iOS players who updated their app using the Mobage-distributed build were unable to log in to the game due to "network issues".

While the exact cause of this issue remains unclear, it was largely solved by uninstalling Fantasica, then reinstalling the newest version of the game from the Apple store.

As we are still investigating the scope of this issue, recompense has yet to be decided. Details, as they become known, will be made at a later date.

2.) Starting from December 31, 2016 at approximately 2:00+ am PST/PDT, we experienced server-side network issues that prevented us from updating the game. Due to the timing of a variety of factors including the winter holidays, the dissolution of DeNA West, the transfer of the game from DeNA West to DeNA, and just poor luck (among other things), the game remained in this state until these issues were resolved just hours before this maintenance was initiated.

This issue affected all players.

The problem appears to have been resolved, though some functions like password resets may not yet be operable.

While we are still deliberating recompense, we would like to offer all players who have registered their accounts prior to this maintenance nine 10★ Sigma Tickets.

This is in addition to the recompense we will be offering players for the issues outlined in 2.) at a later date.

In addition to the above, we will also be pushing back the end dates for the following features until January 10, 2017 at 2:00 am PST/PDT. ・ Daily Login Bonuses ・ The 10★ Rho Ticket Exchange

The extent of the damage caused by the above issues is still under investigation and there may be other changes that have taken place not listed above. We will do our best to keep you apprised of these changes as they become clear to us.

■The Current Status of Fantasica

Thank you for playing FANTASICA.

Here is a general outline of where we are at this point.

1) The team is hard at work preparing content for the next maintenance. Content will be uploaded as soon as the network errors have been resolved. While we are optimistic that these issues will be resolved in the very near future, there is the possibility that they will not.

In that case, we will provide another update before the weekend.

2) Recompense for these issues is currently being discussed and details will be made available once they have been finalized and the game is back online.

3) We anticipate distributing rewards for the Prison Break event during the next maintenance, though when that will be has yet to be determined.

We apologize again for the delay and are doing what we can to get everything back online as soon as possible.

■Network Issues Within Fantasica

Thank you for playing FANTASICA.

We experienced crippling network issues that prevented us from being able to deliver our next batch of playable content for the next few days.

As a result, we have terminated maintenance and brought FANTASICA back online in the following condition:

・The Roll the Dice: Spirits Onboard event has been postponed.

・All new cards packs scheduled to be released have been postponed.

・Distribution of the Prison Break rank rewards has been postponed.

We are working as hard as we can to resolve the situation quickly and will provide updates, in-game, as details become available. Unfortunately, due to the timing of this issue, response time may be delayed and our first update on this issue will likely on January 4, 2016 PST.

We are VERY sorry for both the inconvenience and disappointment that we have caused during what should be one of the happiest times of the year, and humbly ask your patience and understanding as we work to bring FANTASICA up online as soon as possible.
