Tactics Event
Event Info
Fanta Tactics Events are events where you form Squads and Teams to battle to the top!
Clear the floors for BT Pts and rewards!
You can form Teams after building your Squads by pressing the Form Team button at the top of the event page.
Players will be put in teams automatically in the order they press the Form Team button.
Teams will disband after 10 battles.
Teams consist of your three Squads, the First Squads of your 2 teammates, and the First Squad of one available ally.
The First Squads of your teammates that come to your aid will be determined upon joining the team.
Any changes to your First Squad formations after joining the team will not be applied to other members' teams.
Only allies fulfilling the following requirements can come to your aid:
- Event participant
- First Squad is assembled
- Last login is within the past hour
- NOT a member of your current team
Fighting battles uses CP.
One CP is restored every 10 minutes.
CP can be restored instantly by using Time Elixirs or Tonic items.
Each Tonic item will restore all CP.
- There is a limit to the number of Time Elixirs you can use.
- Limit resets each day at certain intervals.
Winning battles will earn you BT PTs and Reward Items.
Earning enough BT PTs will bring out a Floor Boss.
Defeat the Floor Boss to rise to the next floor.
Trade Reward Items for amazing rewards.
- Items obtained from exchanging Reward Items will be sent to your Inbox.
Special Units
Special units are units that offer bonuses during a Fanta Tactics event.
Special units in your Squad receive the following bonuses:
- a higher drop rate for reward items
- increase in ATK power and HP during battles
The higher the rarity of the special unit, the higher the stat boost.
Ally and teammate special units will also receive a stat boost when added to your First Squad.
- Higher drop rate for reward items will not be applied to ally and teammate special units.
- Drop rate for reward items after a victory will be determined by the single highest rarity special unit in your own squads.
Squads
You can assemble up to three squads. All three squads will be present in your battles.
Each Squad consists of 6 units with no deploy cost limit.
Squad One is sent to assist teammates and allies in their battles.
The formation of Squad One that is sent to teammates and allies is set when you join a team.
Any changes you make to your first squad after joining a team will not be applied to your teammates or allies.
The ATK, HP, Wait Time, Type, and Skill of your Squads are determined by the units you include.
For example, if you use units with fast speeds, the wait time after attacking becomes shorter.
Squad Type(Melee, Missile, or Magic) is the type there are the most units of in the squad.
- If there is a tie, then your leader unit's attack type determines the Squad Type.
Using Attack Type Matchups to your advantage is vital to success in the Fanta Tactics event.
Find information on Squad Skills in the Squad Skills section.
Teams
Teams consist of 3 members. Once 3 members have assembled, the battles will automatically begin.
Press the Form Team button on the event page to join or create a team.
- Whether you create a new team or join a team looking for members is determined when you press the button.
Team formation takes up to 60 seconds.
Battle begins automatically if 3 players are found.
If after 30 seconds 3 players are not found, the player at the top of the team list can press the Form Team button and 2 options will appear - FORM and WAIT.
If FORM is chosen, NPCs are added to any open slots and battle will begin.
If WAIT is chosen, an additional 30 seconds is given to wait for players to join. After the 30 seconds pass, NPCs are added to any open slots and battle will begin.
Teams are automatically disbanded after 10 battles.
- Failed battles are included in the battle count.
- Continuing a battle does not count as an extra battle.
The Form Team button will only be available once you form your First Squad. NPCs are picked randomly. Names are NPC-A through NPC-Z and NPC-AA through NPC-AN. ATK power of NPC squads is determined by your squads and teammate's squads.
Battles

- Limit resets each day at certain intervals.
- The MAX CP is 6. Using an item to restore CP will not bring your CP over 6.

Failed battles also give (much smaller) bonuses if at least one enemy monster was defeated.
Battles can be continued by using Potions or Tonic items which heal all the HP of your squads.
- There is a limit to the number of Potions you can use.
- Limit resets each day at certain intervals.
Boss battles can be challenged again using CP, even if you choose not to continue with Potions or tonic items. Defeated monsters will NOT reappear and Boss HP will NOT be restored.
Master Squad Skills, Attack Type Matchups, and Combos to rise to the top! Find more information in the specific sections.
Combat in Battles
Targeting is not necessary to attack monsters.
- AUTO MODE**
Auto Mode can be switched on and off during battles. In a Auto Mode, attacking monsters is automatically done. You can still target specific monsters manually.
- Combo attacks may sometimes be set off if your squads have no wait time.
- If a Squad Skill is available, it will be used immediately.
- Auto Mode may not always be the most strategic choice.
Attack Type Matchups
Good Matchups
In a good matchup, your unit will do 1.5x its normal damage against the enemy unit. Example: Magic units (staff icon) do 1.5x damage to Melee units (sword icon).
Bad Matchups
In a bad matchup, your unit will do 0.5x its normal damage against the enemy unit. Example: Magic units (staff icon) do 0.5x damage to Missile units (bow icon).
- Against a unit of the same type, your unit will deal normal damage.
- Enemy unit damage is also affected by attack type matchups.
Combo Attacks
In Fanta Tactics, special Combo Attacks can be used.
You can use Combo Attacks by tapping ready (no wait time) units in a row.
Combos reach a MAX of 6 attacks.
The higher the combo, the greater the damage to enemies.
Combo attacks will continue to hit the same enemy even if its HP is reduced to zero.
- Active Squad Skills cannot be used in Combo Attacks.
- Passive Squad Skills may sometimes be used in Combo Attacks.
- Multiple attack skills used in combos are counted as one attack.
Squad Skills
Squad Skills can be activated during battles in a Fanta Tactics event.
You can choose one skill per Squad.
Depending on the units you use, it may be possible for you to choose from several skills.
To pick what skill you want to use, tap the Edit Squad button, then choose the unit whose skill you want to use and then tap Edit.
The units in your Squad will determine the Squad Skills, requirements, and effect sizes (S, M, L, XL).

Active Skills

You must meet the necessary requirements before using these skills.
Passive Skills

Bonus Monsters
Keep an eye out for Bonus Monsters!
Sometimes, a monster with a colored BONUS logo will appear in battle.
These enemies offer special bonuses.
Red: Additional BT Pts!
Yellow: Additional reward items!
Blue: Additional EXP!
The more Bonus Monsters you destroy, the more bonuses you get.
If they show up, take them down!
Also, some of these Bonus Monsters have the ability to attack all of your units at once.
Their Wait Meter circle will change before they attack, destroy these enemies first!
Floors
Fanta Tactics consists of 50 Floors.
There is a Floor Boss on every floor.
Floor Bosses will appear after you reach the amount of BT Pts necessary.
These bosses must be destroyed for you to move on to the next floor.
While a Floor Boss battle is active, you cannot fight normal battles.
- You can re-challenge bosses even after the Boss Battle has ended.
- For your second battle, any and all monsters destroyed in the first time through will NOT reappear and Boss HP will NOT be restored.
After the 50th Floor, looping EX Floors will become available.
Same as normal floors, Floor Bosses will appear once BT Pt requirements are met.
BT Pts
Gain BT Pts by fighting battles.
Victories earn you loads of BT Pts.
Failed battles will also net you some BT Pts (much less) if you have destroyed at least one enemy.
You can increase the number of BT Pts you get by using damage items!
Overkill
Get an Overkill bonus by dealing more damage than the monster's remaining HP!
Overkill bonuses depend on the amount of Overkill damage you do.
The more damage, the greater the bonus!
Combos are especially effective for doing extra damage!
Initial damage done by damage items is not included in Overkill bonuses.
Event Items
Use special items to get the edge!
Restore Items
Restore items can be used to MAX your CP.
After a defeat, it can also be used to continue the battle with your Squads and HP restored.
The enemy's HP will not be restored.
- The MAX CP is 6.
- Using a restore item to restore CP will not bring your CP over 6.
Damage Items
Using damage items increases the amount of BT PTs you get for 5 battles.
Damage items also deal damage to all enemy monsters at the beginning of the battle for 5 battles.
- Failed battles are included in the battle count.
- Continuing does not count as an extra battle.
- Initial damage done by damage items is not included in Overkill bonuses.
Reward Items

You can get reward items by defeating enemies in battle.
Failed battles will also net you some reward items (much less) if you have destroyed at least one enemy.
Reward items can be traded by tapping the Exchange button on the event page.
Reward item rewards will be sent to your Inbox.

Exchange Cost
This is the number of reward items needed to trade in for an item.
You will not be able to make the exchange without the necessary Shields.
Exchange Left
Some items and units have a limit to the number of times they can be traded for.
When the number of exchanges left hits 0, you will no longer be able to trade for that item.
Floor Requirement
Some rewards require that you reach a certain floor before you can trade for them.
You will not be able to make the exchange without meeting the necessary Floor requirement.
Availability
There is a deadline to trade in your reward items.
Once the deadline has passed, you will no longer be able to trade in your Shields.
- The above requirements must be met to make reward item exchanges.
Reward item rewards will be sent to your Inbox.
Floor Rewards
TEAM UP! Beat the clock and get BETTER REWARDS!
In Fanta Tactics the 50 Floors are divided into 5 Brackets, 1 Bracket = 10 Floors.
Every 10th Floor is a target floor.
Clear the target floor within the time limit and you may get a higher level reward.
The more people who clear the designated bracket, the better the rewards.
If you do not clear a bracket within the given time limit, you will only receive the lowest possible reward for that bracket.
- It may take up to 3 hours after the time limit has ended for rewards to be sent.
- Bracket rewards will be sent to your Inbox when you open the event page AFTER rankings have been finalized.
- Players who clear the designated bracket after the time limit has ended will not be included in the clear count.
- If you clear the designated bracket after the time limit for it has ended, you will still get the lowest level reward.
