Step Up Packs 49 was introduced on December 2th, 2014. One new exclusive 9★, Arrythmia was introduced along with one new, exclusive 8★, Terntia, and one new, exclusive 7★, Risa.
Step Up Packs are purchased in a tiered order with the increased costs as well as increased bonuses with each tier. Progress on purchasing Steps is permanent. Upon completion of step 6, both steps 6 and 7 became repeatable.
New units in Step Up Packs 49 gave bonuses for the Winter of the Heart event.
