Extreme Packs Season 39 was introduced on November 9th, 2015. It included several new, exclusive units: 10★ Little Match Girl, 9★ Ecila, 8★ Eisiam, and 7★ Adaline. 6★ Big_Bad_Wolf and 5★ Aneleh were also introduced and added to standard card packs.
Extreme Packs are purchased in a tiered order with the increased costs as well as increased bonuses with each tier. Progress on purchasing Steps is permanent. Upon completion of EX 6, both EX 6 and EX 7 became repeatable. EX 7 is available without completion of prior steps.
Steps in Extreme Packs Season 39 were bundled with 
Solaris Tonics and the new units gave bonuses in The Fantasica Chronicles 33 guild battle event.
